Regan joined PBW Law in 2024 after qualifying as a solicitor in 2023.

 

Regan’s legal education began at the University of Dundee where he graduated with a First Class LLB (Hons) degree. He then went on to study at the University of Strathclyde where he obtained his Diploma in Professional Legal Practice. During his time at university, he picked up various awards, including ‘The Law Society of Scotland Prize for Overall Merit’ and ‘The Family Law Association Prize for Family Law’.

 

During his legal traineeship with BTO Solicitors LLP, Regan gained invaluable experience whilst training under practicing Solicitor Advocates and a part-time Sheriff. Regan prepared and conducted his own Proofs and was heavily involved in the preparation of an array of civil cases ranging from Simple Procedure to Court of Session actions. He has experience in a wide range of civil disputes including breach of contract, interdict, property and negligence.

 

Since joining PBW Law, Regan has become an extremely important member of the team which provides specialist advice and representation to private clients and members of the Scottish Police Federation.  He has benefitted from working alongside Professor Watson on a wide range of cases. Regan manages his own criminal caseload, instructing experts and preparing for criminal Trials whilst also being involved in high-profile Public Inquires, Fatal Accident Inquiries and high value civil disputes.

 

Regan has a great working relationship with some of the country’s most renowned advocates and King’s Counsel and has significant experience instructing Counsel in complex and novel cases.

 

Regan is well-known for carrying out detailed investigations and preparation for cases to ensure that he can achieve the best possible outcome for the client. He is often recognised and praised for going the extra mile for clients.

 

Outside of the office, Regan is a senior listed Referee with the Scottish Football Association. He referees in the Scottish Professional Football Leagues (SPFL) and high-level Junior matches.
