Rosti Gorbunov

Rosti Gorbunov is a Solicitor at PBW Law in Glasgow. Since joining the firm in June 2026, he has quickly become involved in a broad range of specialist litigation, bringing a meticulous approach and a strong commitment to achieving the best possible outcome for every client.

Rosti began his legal career in human rights litigation and immigration law, where he built and brought complex cases before the courts on behalf of his clients. That grounding gave him valuable experience in preparing and progressing challenging cases.

​

At PBW Law his practice has broadened considerably. He represents private clients and members of the Scottish Police Federation, and acts in uninsured loss recovery and defended personal injury actions. He is experienced in advanced case preparation and takes a detailed, considered approach to every matter, keeping each client’s individual circumstances at the centre of his work.

Rosti believes effective representation means more than applying a standard formula. He takes time to understand the challenges each client faces and tailors his approach to match, underpinned by careful preparation and close attention to detail.

Before entering the law, Rosti worked in hospitality, rising to manage a Michelin-starred restaurant. The role taught him the value of exceptional client care, professionalism and the highest standards, and sharpened his ability to assess individual needs and adapt to different circumstances. He brings those skills to his legal practice.

Rosti was educated in England before graduating from the University of Aberdeen with an LLB (Hons) in Scots Law and English Law. He went on to obtain an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Glasgow, where he competed in international mooting competitions and received the University of Glasgow International Commercial Law Prize, awarded to the most outstanding student on the programme. He remained at Glasgow to complete his Diploma in Professional Legal Practice.
